Comestri is the powerful eCommerce backend system for major retailers like Bunnings and Lorna Jane. However, as a complex SaaS platform with thousands of functions, they struggled to succinctly articulate their value. In a crowded and confusing market, their powerful, natively unified solution was getting lost. Our mission was to create a new brand identity and messaging framework that could clearly and compellingly communicate their unique advantage over competitors.
CHALLENGE
The challenge was to distill the immense complexity of the Comestri platform into a single, compelling message. In a crowded SaaS market filled with confusing solutions cobbled together from acquisitions, Comestri’s true value was getting lost. We needed to create a brand that could cut through the noise and clearly articulate their core differentiator: a truly unified commerce platform. The brand had to transform a list of thousands of features into a clear, understandable, and desirable solution.
APPROACH
Our approach was to build the entire brand around Comestri’s key technical advantage: their pre-integrated Order, Product, and Channel management systems. We developed a new positioning statement, “Unified eCommerce is better when it’s all connected,” to capture this core benefit. This concept was reinforced visually with a new brand identity featuring interconnected nodes and lines. This clear, consistent messaging transformed their complex functionality into a simple, powerful promise, solidifying their status as a leader in unified commerce.
